Welcome to St. Goar in the Loreley Valley!

Our house is located in the lovely little town of St. Goar, between Bingen and Koblenz, on the most beautiful and most romantic stretch of the Rhine within the UNESCO World Heritage Site. From here, you can go on some wonderful trips in our region and visit the many Medieval castles and cities. Situated kitty-corner to the town is the legendary Loreley Rock.

You can see 3 castles at the same time from our house. St. Goar is the perfect place to start off on a hiking trip in the surrounding area. Newly created hiking paths stretching over 120 kilometers are waiting for you.

A beautifully situated heated outdoor swimming pool set against a magnificent backdrop beckons you for a pleasant day of swimming. A doll and bear museum in town makes young and old eyes shine. A visit to the Rheinfels Castle is a must, along with guided hiking tours with local tour guides.

And you certainly do not want to miss a wine-tasting at local wine makers or hoteliers. Everybody will find something for themselves to have a nice time in St. Goar and the surrounding area.

Since St. Goar enjoys a central location, you can plan some nice trips as well. Whether by car, on foot, by train, boat or bicycle, you can reach the romantic Mosel, Nahe and Lahn. Within close vicinity of our town, more than 20 romantic castles invite you for a visit.

Koblenz with its famous Deutsche Eck (German Corner) is the closest larger city offering lots of great shopping and it is quick and easy to get there.

We have been renting our room and holiday apartment for over 50 years (3 generations). Our goal is to make our guests’ stay as pleasant as possible.
